/ Job description
As a DevOps Engineer at Diaflow, you will:
Contribute to multiple projects: Join and support two projects simultaneously, applying DevOps best practices consistently across environments.
Infrastructure management: Design, set up, and maintain virtual infrastructure in overseas regions (especially Europe), ensuring compliance with GDPR and European data regulations.
CI/CD pipeline: Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient integration and continuous delivery.
System health: Monitor uptime/downtime, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability of services.
Monitoring & alerting: Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for proactive issue detection.
Backup & recovery: Establish and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard system integrity.
Additional responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with software engineers to design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient systems.
Apply infrastructure as code (IaC) principles to manage cloud environments consistently.
Implement and improve security practices (e.g., access management, vulnerability scanning, patching).
Optimize system performance, reliability, and cost by leveraging automation wherever possible.
Provide technical documentation and knowledge sharing to support team members.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response when required.
/ Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar)
Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with GDPR compliance and European data handling standards is a plus
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work across teams
